Topic awaiting preservation: searching for sound effects (Page 1 of 1)

i am searching for some sound effects that could be used in a game.

the kinds of sounds i am looking for are short "jingles". let me try to describe:

not longer than 3 to 5 seconds.
maybe a short e-guitar strike. 4 chords or so...
one should get the feeling of being amazed.
should be like a "hammer" to the emotion.

anyone knows of a collection of legal soundfiles i could use?

googling didnt help so far... all i found are sound effects of people, animals, machinery, ...

try sounddogs.com ... you can download all the sound files there for testing... costs are fairly low for purchase i think.

(now i have to browse through 1000 of melodies to find THE one....)
