"I am the commander, see. I do not need to explain why I say things. That's the interesting thing about being the president. Maybe somebody needs to explain to me why they need to say something, but I don't feel like I owe anybody an explanation." - George W Bush in an interview with Bob Woodward 2003

Today, Bush has been reappointed "Commander in Chief" of the USA. Whether their votes mattered or not, this event has occurred with the consent of many millions of Americans cowed by the illusory fear of "Arab terrorists". In truth the American people have today cast a vote for tyranny.

Below we present some reports and facts which confirm what all conscious beings already know - Bush and his entourage are liars and callous murderers and their war on humanity has only just begun.

We will leave it to the reader to ponder how we have arrived at this particular depressing juncture and what, if any, chance there may be for a way out.

Prominent DC Shrink Diagnoses Bush to be a Paranoid, Sadistic Meglomaniac
By Staff and Wire Reports
Jun 14, 2004, 00:22

A new book by a prominent Washington psychoanalyst says President George W. Bush is a "paranoid meglomaniac" as well as a sadist and "untreated alcoholic"

Dr. Justin Frank, writing in Bush on the Couch: Inside the Mind of the President, also says the President has a ""lifelong streak of sadism, ranging from childhood pranks (using firecrackers to explode frogs) to insulting journalists, gloating over state executions ... [and] pumping his fist gleefully before the bombing of Baghdad."

Even worse, Dr. Frank concludes, the President's years of heavy drinking ""may have affected his brain function - and his decision to quit drinking without the help of a 12-step program [puts] him at far higher risk of relapse."

Dr. Frank's conclusions appear to confirm a June 4, 2004, Capitol Hill Blue report that says the President's erratic behavior and wide mood swings have White House aides concerned.

Bush shows an inability to grieve - dating back to age 7, when his sister died. "The family's reaction - no funeral and no mourning - set in motion his life-long pattern of turning away from pain [and hiding] behind antic behavior," says Frank, who says Bush may suffer from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Other findings by Dr. Frank:

* His mother, Barbara Bush - tabbed by some family friends as "the one who instills fear" - had trouble connecting emotionally with her son, Frank argues.
* George H.W. Bush's "emotional and physical absence during his son's youth triggered feelings of both adoration and revenge in George W."
* The President suffers from "character pathology," including "grandiosity" and "megalomania" -- viewing himself, America and God as interchangeable.

Dr. Frank has been a psychiatrist for 35 years and is on staff at George Washington University. A Democrat, he once headed the Washington Chapter of Physicians for Social Responsibility.

In an interview with The Washington Post's Richard Leiby, Dr. Frank said he began to be concerned about Bush's behavior in 2002.

"I was really very unsettled by him and I started watching everything he did and reading what he wrote, and watching him on videotape. I felt he was disturbed," Dr. Frank told Leiby. Bush, he said, "fits the profile of a former drinker whose alcoholism has been arrested but not treated."

Dr. Frank's expert recommendation? "Our sole treatment option -- for his benefit and for ours -- is to remove President Bush from office . . . before it is too late."

Comment: It is too late. America had its chance. Bush has been mandated to pursue worldwide death and destruction for another four years - it is hard to say if the world will survive them.

I did not call you a liar--directly or indirectly. Other than your absolute faith in religious doctrine, there would be no basis for that claim... if you didn't reply in the manner you did. No, I alluded to the ineffectual political strategy of repeating the same things until a person or group of people believe what is being said. For instance, the Bush and Johnson administrations' usage of fear and hope tactics. You often say you prefer civil discussion to flame wars. Your response to me demonstrated otherwise. You called me an arrogant and belligerent bigot that naively understands the world in binary colors. If that's not an attempt to initiate a flame war, I don't know what is.

At least now, Bugimus, I know how you truly feel about me. I'll certainly keep your opinion of me in perspective the next time you attempt to present objective and unbiased arguments in defense of whatever you proffer. Good day.

meta, you asked me to read one of your posts a while back carefully. Well, that is exactly what I went back and did. I must ask you to do the same to what I said above:

quote:
Bugimus said:

...you seem to have an extremely black and white view of the world. You do realize that you may not be right about everything don't you? Are you so arrogant that you cannot even consider another point of view? Why are you being so belligerent?

Notice I said you *seemed* a certain way to me. I left it open in order to allow you to clarify if you didn't intend to come across that way. Then I asked you three questions. Only the last question made a statment that you were being belligerent which you most certainly have been as of late. Either way, how do you think I feel knowing that you think I prefer flame wars? Can you not see why I was hurt by you thinking that of me?

quote:
metahuman said:

If that's not an attempt to initiate a flame war, I don't know what is.

Well, I can assure you it was not intended to start a flame war with you. It was intended to smack you just enough so that I could engage you in discussion to find out why you say some of the things you say. Quite honestly, I just can't understand what is motivating you in some of these threads. You really do come across the way I suggested above. There is nothing wrong with open, honest, and even heated discussion and that does not necessarily become a flame war. You're big into using proper definitions of words and so you must realize that I haven't flamed you in this thread.

More specifically to the point of this thread becoming a flame war, most of the time X posts an article like this it does become a flame war. This has happened several times in previous threads. He comes in, posts an article with zero commentary and then when people start criticizing it the war begins. I have often tried to address the issues in some of these threads but it usually is overshadowed by personal attacks flying all over the place. So I was flippant above because I just know how these usually go but I really would prefer a discussion.

Hello X. The bold text above is utter and complete hysteria. Look at the language. Regardless of whether you agree with the war in Afghanistan or Iraq, to agree with those statments above shows a serious problem in judgement.

The threat from Arab terrorists, namely Al Qaeda, is not illusory. You can argue to what degree it is a threat and that is perfectly valid but to say it is illusory is just wrong. It is a threat, many people have died as a result of it. People have been murdered by Arab terrorists for many years now.

The American people have cast a vote for tyranny? Tyranny?!? How can you say such a thing when you compare it to what the enemy is trying to achieve? For that matter, how can you say such a thing just looking at the current state of the governments in the Middle East? Not one democracy, not even one. I ask myself why and how a mind can ignore that and call the most free and most democratic nation a tyranny. And I am not even arguing that we don't problems so please don't even go there. I have acknowledged many times here that we are far from without flaws. But this article is written with a completel lack of perspective on that point.

Bush and his people may be liars but making war on humanity? Again, there is no perspective in that statement. There is no such thing as a perfect government or a perfect people. But because there are no pure parties in this world should not preclude anyone from opposing true tyranny. I am afraid that you are completely ignoring the state of humanity that existed in Iraq prior to our invasion. You simply cannot say that because we, almost unilaterally, decided to remove a brutal dictator like Hussein and replace his government with some semblance of a democracy, that we are the tyrants.

But wait, you can say that. You have said that. I believe you really believe we are the tyrants. How? Why? This is something that I will turn my attention to. It would be really nice if you could explain to me why you can think such things. But here are my suspicions. It has something to do with your understanding and belief about the fundamental nature of human beings. Are human beings, left to their own devices, basically good or bad? I believe so very much of the current cultural war we found ourselves in here in the states and also with our European allies comes down to that one key point.
