Topic awaiting preservation: 2.5 gigapixel image!!! (Page 1 of 1)

Here I haven't even seen it yet and I'm sying 'You gotta see this!

Just caught a bit of it on tv which has obviously resulted in a BZillion hits cuz I can't get in. Can't even remember for sure but I think it was taken in Holland...pic of a campus taken over a 6 hour period.. stitched together.... JUST GOT IN.... BYE BYE... and good luck

I actually used to go to uni where 'Waldo' is standing. Product design. Switched to Graphic design, though.

This makes me a little suspicious. This is an image directly from the web site, with no editing by me. What happened to the top half of this person?

They took a LOT of small pictures and stitched them together.

How else could they make a 2.5 Gigapixel image? And did you even bother to read any of the data, or did you just click the picture?
