You have a lot of sig buttons.
As for Halo 2, it's awesome. I'm having a blast with the multiplayer, but since I don't own a copy, I havn't played through campaign yet.

It wouldn't be a bad thing if they were in a line, horizontally. But Vertically it takes up a bunch of space...

I wasn't very impressed with Halo 2. It wasn't much of an improvement over the original and didn't live up to the hype, IMO.

Black Hat -
I thought the weapons in Halo 2 were one of its few bright spots. It's been a while since I played the original but there seemed to be a good deal more in choices. Also, another positive aspect was the ability to use more vehicles. With the sucess of GTA its kind of amusing that the ability to steal a car (or Ghost) is a must for videogames today.
The worst part of the game for me was the graphics. They just weren't good. The release of Halo 2 coincided with such graphic heavy weights as Doom 3 and Half-Life 2. You can't expect Halo 2 to live up to those standards but the game doesn't even compete with XBOX titles. Look at the difference between Ninja Gaiden and Halo 2 on the XBOX.
Playing as the Arbiter was just bad. In large battles it was too difficult to tell friend from foe so I ended up anhilating everything in sight - including those working with me. A green arrow over friends would have made things much easier.
All in all, I would give the game a 6 out of 10. Had it not have been a sequel to one of my favorite games of all time it might have been better, but what a let down it was.

18 weapons--7 (one of Bungies numbers they obsess over, along with 3, and 999) more than the original.
It was a massive improvement over the first. I enjoyed every minute of it, and have spent 2 weekends with 20+ hour multiplayer super-fun.
I'm going to get Xbox Live if just to play Halo 2 on it.
It's a great game, and I don't know why I'm the only one here who seems to think that--I find this one funner than the original, granted that Level #3 on Halo: Combat Evolved was pretty good.
Oh and before anyone mentions it: you don't see a message saying "Coming February 9th" after beating it on Legendary; that's a rumor.
PS Blackhat, your sig is way too huge.

I don't have a problem with it, and I'm on dialup. but hey, at least it's not getting the rough reviews the last ones got

Halo and Halo 2 are meant to be played multiplayer. 4 people is enjoyable, but 8-10 people is the sweet spot. More than that is too many people for me.

BH, just to clear up, the problem people have with that sig is just that it is not a sig. It is a bunch of links to other pages and has nothing to do with you, or the content of the threads. (except that you must like the pages) It also breaks up the pages, and stands out. Expecially when you see that many buttons in one post after another post.
anywhoo... back to the game at hand...
I have never played single player halo, i dont own an xbox. just a controller... so how does the multi player play stack up???
anything new in that respect?

Izz: You can jump in a Warthog while an enemy is driving it! You can also steal vehicles from people. Not to mention a billion new game modes.
Halo 2 just improves on everything that was missing in Halo.
Dope.

While this may be cause for me to mourn my lack of an XBox... eh... I'm not. I'll wait patiently until they screw it up porting it to PC.
