Topic awaiting preservation: Unlimited GMail space ? Or April Fools ? (Page 1 of 1)

It looks like GMail are offering unlimited space now....but then again, maybe this is an attempt at an April fools ? What do you think ? Logistically, could they do it ?

Well it's still in beta isn't it, and maybe they'll keep it so that the only way to gain an account is to be invited, which means that numbers will be relatively few and service optimum. but it does sound unlikely.

[doh]So I just read it it and yes clearly it's a joke, but they ARE giving eveyone 2GB of storage now instead of 1, to celebrate their birthday[/doh]

Um, Gmail was born on LAST YEAR's april fools. It sure is real. And so is this update. My account shows up to 1400+ MB already. Its a slow increasing thing. If you read their press statement about it, it makes rational sense.

Second, RideFinder is real as well.
