Topic awaiting preservation: Something... I guess (Page 1 of 1)

Boredom brings out weird things in me... I was sitting at home all bored and what and thought to try and see what I could do in Photoshop without any inspiration of any sort and with a blank mind!

Well I ended up with this... what do you think?



I call it "The Forbidden Fruit" but of course you already must have figured that out from the typo! If you're wondering what the frog is all about... I think it represents the Satan!

No that's as big as it gets... as I said boredom.
I was thinking... perhaps my mind wasn't blank when I made that! On closer inspection of weird but interesting yet small piece I made it comes to thought that I had religion in mind... whoa... that's different! I'm starting to think I made those apples to symbolize Adam, Eve and the Guy Upstairs! Do you think I made the Satan (Froggie) too cute?

i don't think the frog looks cute. i like the slight opaque-ness of it and how that colour is echoed in the swirly thing around the apples. the effect of the frog + swirly thing is almost menacing. the apples look out of place, timid, even.

or maybe i'm just drunk

Well, templar' I think it is a little too small for any serious critique if that was what you wanted.
The apples look ok but the colour quality appears too low. Did you paint them yourself?

Not much a little Posterize and some manual painting here and there like I said bored... needed to do something or me mom would put me on some chores!
