The articles says that Spyware producers prefer such terms as "Potentially Unwanted Software" to Spyware. This seems like a good term for it to me. Of course, the name Potentially Unwanted Software is a little long to say all the time so let's just shorten it to PUS

As in, "My computer was infected by Spyware, but now I'm removing the PUS."
