In this case, I think the best advice I can give is; The Pen Tool is Your Friend. |

yeah, I tried that but the flames are really really close together. If I could draw, I would redraw the flames and have them spaced out a bit more. I think they use MS Paint to make the original image LOL |

If they're really close together, then zoom in so they're not. Simple problem, simple answer |

I am assuming that he means in an aesthetic sense - as looking at the graphic shows they are well more than far enough apart to easily trace... |

I agree pen tool but do it in Illustrator. |
