The open source solutions should be exactly what you need. If you are paying money for this type of product you are most likely not getting a good deal. |

Ah that's quite informative, but it does only compare free types. From reading through thoug it all seems to come down to support and ease of use. Something like awstats is down to the developer to use and learn, a package like Webtrends comes with licences and all that gumpf, however they offer good support and the interface has been worked on thoroughly to be easy to use abd quick to maintain. From my experience with Webtrends the nice thing about it was that you could set up different interfaces for your users, so developers could get to the guts of the statistics, but project managers and report generators had simple layouts with quick access to the most colourfull pie charts and graphs you could imagine |
