By now, you probably noticed, so screw the sneeky approach, I am here, for better or... for better
Things have quite changed for me over the past few months, and at the time being, I am writing from my office
in Philip Morris HQ.

My site still is http://www.beyondwonderland.com

I still am a recovering freak, hence a claim for admittance, but not an obsessive-compulsive one, a neurotic one.
Not depressive or depressed either.
Anyway, to echo Skaarjj's recommendations about getting a real world therapist, mine has made a good job
of giving my life a boost.

I am not making excuses.
I am not seeking for care and tenderness.

I just happened to drop by to say "Hello world", so, hm.. Hello, world! How are things?

Hi Ini, good to see you around again!

I didn't realise you were Swiss? It was mentioned in a javascript thread, or was I getting the wrong guy, anyway, me too!

Also, working for PM, do you have any dealings with a company they work with called Framfab?

Hi Dan, kimson, Blaise.

DMS - not a break, some active recovery, really-really. Works a threat when you really want it.
Professional - social - scholar life is going incredibly well btw, but
you guys didn't answer my question, how are things around here?

Where are Dracusis, DG, Michael, the doodle persons I mean, and what's going on, is there a dog?

Framfab? Let me check the intranet... hmmm... one match, not really explicit. What do they do?

Actually Blaise, I am italian, have always lived in Switzerland. You too you said?
I am in Lausanne. Where are you from?

And about PM, as an IS member, I am the interface between end users of all kinds and the technical infrastructure,
so I mostly deal with internal staff, IT professionals of all sorts.

- and Framfab is originally a Swedish company, several of my co-workers come from Framfab

- around here, basically samesame, some new inmates, less activity from some inmates, a little less focus on graphics/media and a bit more on philosilly and coding, at least as I see it.

Personally, now employed again after 2,5 yrs of involontary freelancing, I work at www.ongame.com as one of the tech project managers for www.pokerroom.com development, built the shop section and managed the rebuild of the pokah-section.

95% switched to Mac at home and just set up a dual boot with XP & Debian, I think I'll stick to Linux & Mac at home unless I'm gaming.

I guess that's about it

Hey InI, welcome back.

I was doing something you might find interesting today (as you're interested in both Java and JS)... as you know, I hate coding anything remotely large or complex in Java... but I require Java's graphics capabilities... so I decide to abuse the system for fun and profit.

http://www.rpi.edu/~laporj2/random/canvas/

Currently working on a more versatile canvas applet for 3D, but meh, it works.

Anyway, have fun... alas, the recent JS Compo's have lagged. :/

Thanks everybody, what a hearty welcome...
We're in the misc chit-chat area and I feel like talking, so:

- Suse is soo frustrating to me. My laptop has a 1920x1200 monitor and a dvd burner, Suse forced me to use a 1600x1200 standard lcd display
and doesn't deal with my dvd burner at all, it just does not detect it yet. Granted, KDE is cool, many Suse apps are cool and straightforward,
but I use it for scholar purpose.

My current tool of choice is Eclipse on Windows. I said I was lazy

- I could rant for ten years about the job, it's great. Plus it's more than 150% of my previous salary and I am rising.

- IW, nice stuff, but I tend to do it all in Java I still like javascript, but my skills and goals have changed as far as development is concerned,
hence the fact I barely update my site: there are a few light years between my past and current skills and interests.

Hopefully, though, I'll get to spice up the dormant js contest.

And a final note to let you know I am in love.... With this thingie
Should get mine next week.

Last one before I leave the office, a plasma, no time to upload, you'll have to do the copy/paste to new html file,
it goes like:

code:

			var palette = new Array(200,190,160,120,80,40,80,120,160,190,200);
			var r, g, b;
			var angle = 0;
