I often equate stoping Eric Clapton from playing with mass killings and torture of those with discenting opinions.

Of course I do not agree that we should have removed Sadam in the first place, and I believe his trial is a farse. But this kind of equation is pretty off kilter.

Ahmad is an ultra-conservitive, and he is positioning his country well. These leaders are not stupid, they are people like any other, and they are doing what they feel is correct based on their beliefs. Iran is not the most open of countries, they have super strict laws, they propogate hate of America and Americans, but they are not stupid.

We have really fuct with there part of the world. We have stuck out head into areas that we should not have. We have created and destroyed different regemes in that area since the founding of isreal and the cold war. America is now in a very weak position and if those who we have opressed did not take advantage of the situation it would be a mistake. Condemning these people for doing what they believe is right in their own country is wrong of us.
