This time It Has to Do with Cars...



If the Apox. Highest Speed Limit is 60/70 MPH - 96/112 KPH ( Ya , I think I Converted that Right)

Why Do ?Public? Cars Have the Ability to go (at least) 120 MPH - 193 KPH (at least to what I know of)

If it?s (usually) Illegal to go that Fast anyway?

But back to the cars, the physics of objects at rest an in motion dictate that it takes more power to accellerate than to maintain a particular speed. Since the general population is not content to gently glide away from stoplights and build up speed over yards or miles (including women who don't have penises--not to imply either that some do--yikes!), car engines have excess power to provide zippy accelleration. Enough, that they can maintain steady-state at extralegal speeds.

But in marketing, yeah, it's the penis thing.

in germany you can drive as fast as you want ... only on the "autobahn"-s ofc (highway in german) ... but there are lots ... most of them initially built by Hitler...

but people don't really abuse it that much ... some drive really fast but most consider their health to be more important

sadly in most of the other countries the speed limit for highways is around 120km/h or even 110 which totally beats the point of having a highway in my opinion ...

Well I have only six inches, but I have found most women find that wide enough.

There is definitely a penis connection for many men and their muscle cars or SUV's, compensation I expect.

The illegality of speeding is very different than most laws. It's not a crime, there is no criminal record assessed regardless of how many offences you commit. No fear of jail time. You can't be denied a job for getting speeding tickets. "Traffic court" resembles an office more than a courtroom, and it's typically not a judge who rules on the legality of the violation.

The law itself is different state to state, country to country, and it is too expensive to put different restrictions on cars to be sold in different geographic areas. Plus, the laws are temporary and change. Highways could very well (and safely) be 100mph in the future, should everyone be forced to buy a faster car because the laws changed?

In countries with stricter licensing criteria, like Germany, there are very different laws regarding the flow of traffic - rules for passing on the left, and higher speed limits are good examples. Especially when compared to a country like Canada, where any idiot can get a license, even if they had never seen a car before (licensing in Canada actually varies on a province to province basis, but its similarly ridiculous across the country). In Canada the speed limits are very low, and there are no fast lanes, passing lanes, carpool lanes, or anything that would require drivers to actually need to understand the operation of their vehicle.

There is also private use. On my private land I can drive my car or motorcycles at any speed I want. Electrically governing motorcycles at 300km/h, and newer sport cars at 250km/h although for safety is unnecessary if the driver can actually handle the speed. Governing vehicles down to the top speed limits would just be asinine.

No one would ever purchase a car that couldn't speed a little, and the government could never legally force all cars to be speed-limited.

Just for full disclosure: the only speeding ticket I ever recieved was for 155 in an 80 zone, and I fought the ticket in court and won.

Would people buy into the idea of such a car if:

There was a monetary incentive?
There was a tax write off?
For no other reason, it saved lives?
