I updated my site once again...

I can't get the scrollbar on the bottom of the guestbook to go away in IE6, though it is gone in firefox...

Have you tried playing with the overflow property? Try setting it to auto, see if that helps.

I think I tried ading overflow: auto also, but I can't remember. I will try it tonight...

Just a quick note - this looks leaps and bounds above the last version that I recall seeing. overall it looks great.

There seem to be a lot of empty nested div's in there, making the code pretty ugly though. I realize hooks are needed to attach background images to, but it seems a bit excessive. Hopefully I'll make it back when I have time to take a closer look.

I sort of cheated.

I am trying to learn more about this stuff, and I don't have tons of time to spend, so I used this template...

yes...that's right.I am a web poser.

But I plan on using this to figure out how it works, and then in a while (with me being so busy a while could be years) making my own set-up.

Using overflow-x is a no no, it's proprietry for now and if anything you'll have to wait for CSS 3, I'm pretty sure overflow: auto; will work., if not, there be demons in there

arrrrrrggggghh.

The reason overflow: auto is not working is due to a fact that the guestbook I use (SignMy Guestbo ok.com) has some text at the bottom of their page, that is inside a table that is set to be 400px wide. My page, with the iFrame is set to be 380px wide, so therefore, the table set (which I can not edit) is 20px to large. That is why I need something like overflow-x: hidden; which apparently does not work in IE, but works in FireFox. Oh well...I guess it's one of those things I will have to live with. Unless someone else knows some way to disable the horizontal scroll while leaving the vertical scroll even though horizontally it is 20px bigger.

And thanks DL. I thought the same thing about all those divs. I am planning on playing around with and making it much simplier. A lot of the divs set up the header...
