when using the code tag, can it be possible to use the bold tag?

That way the suggested change or what not could be bolded in some code

ubb code is explicitly not parsed in code tags so we can actually talk about the verbatim ubb code and don't loose brackets to slimies.

I could introduce another styledCode tag or something, though.

Couldn't it be set to only parse particular strings as ubb code though?

[ins] will indicate code that has been inserted into a snippet.
[del] will indicate code that has been removed.

Stylings would be something along the lines of - strikethrough for [del], bold for [ins] I would say. Though they could be represented any way that was seen as fitting. The color scheme here leaves fewer options than other sites would have...

sounds like a simple case of preg_replace and a bit of freetime. Of course, I don't even know what language the Asylum is written in anymore. So don't look at me.

Yes, it should simple enough, and there are things in place that could be modifed easily enough - should someone have the time to spend, what would it take to for such a person to have access to the right stuff to put this into place, TP?
