seems I'm going to London this weekend...
any last minute tips or meetups I shouldn't miss?
(Not that I have a detailed plan beyond 'friday night - the pub' )

Ooh, go for a curry in Brick Lane, Shoreditch
Then find a cool bar in that area, or head up the road to Hoxton for more nice bars, it's all about the East end init!

Soho, if you want to meet the other thousands of continental tourists. Palace Theatre if you want to see Spamalot. The uh... other theatre if you want to see Les Mis, which I can really recommend.

And take a stroll along the South bank for plenty of things to see... You can even stop at the Tate Modern if that's your thing (definitely worth a go in my opinion), or take a look at the Shakespeare Globe theatre.
