Forgive my obvious disregard for any particular proper posting of this thread. It truly isn't intentional. I was referred to this site by my sister bodhi23 (who says to make sure that I say hi for her) I really wanted to say that I found this to be an impressive site and was over joyed at seeing see (CPrompt, and Tao) messing with GIMP which is my preferred program. So from bodhi23 to C:\ , Tao, and Grythus Draconis hello and to the rest hiya (^_^)

So happy you have found us
It may appear rather quite here at times but rest assured that there are always a few of us shuffling around either trying to stay out of or get into mischief.

I still use Gimp on my other machine running Ubuntu and I'd be lost without it. I can get Photoshop CS running under wine but it does behave in some very funky ways and does not feel very stable. So I tend to rely on Gimp for basic editing.

If you need anything just holla someone or something will be alerted.

wait wait your asking those in an asylum to take care of me (^_^) love it already. and to be honest this is just because I want to show off my new sig.... I think there may be a comp but I didn't look close enough .. Mostly thank you all for the kind welcome. Bodhi has spoken well of you all and often refers me to come here and look for myself.

Nice sig Hantakira, I do have a soft spot for animated sigs.

Good call Blaise I haven't made a sig in ages. I think I may start making a new one soon, perhaps even try completely in GIMP too.

Glad you are using the GIMP. I was forced to learn it when I went totally Linux a few years ago and really haven't missed PS. Then again, I never really had PS skills.
