I get some weird e-mail, as I'm sure many of us do, but every so often I get something that just baffles me.

Sometimes I really can't fathom what people are thinking when they send me things like this...

Oh, and keep in mind this came to me through The Big Waste of Space, not Texas Twisted. So, there isn't even a geographical connection here.

I don't know if you can help me are not. My grandaugther found a class ring at Astro world in Houston about 2 years ago. I just found it in a drawer and have no idea whom it belongs to. If you can find out I will be happy to send it to the person it belongs to. it is a Hill Valley class ring.

God - its a holy calling and one which is overworked and underappreciated

Basically the steps to webmasterhood:

1. Grab some webspace.

2. Put something on it

3. Call yourself a webmaster.

The word "master" in "webmaster" in no way implies that one is a master at being a webmaster.

yah, it is just the name given to the person who creates the web page so they dont have to be called "the person who created that webpage"

and I second the "heh"

There are many levels of webmastery. Hobbyist, amateur & pro, at least.
Pro, for me, is someone that makes money out of it.
Amateur is someone that wants to make money out of it.
Hobbyist is someone that doesn't care about money. This would be me www.viol.net/mohaa

ADDED: ... doesn't care about earning money as a webmaster...

As I suspected, she typed Hill Valley High School into Google and the first thing that came up was The Back to the Future Tour: Hill Valley High School.

She didn't bother to actually read what she happed upon; she just went to the first thing she found and clicked on Contact Me.

Sorry, but sometimes I feel justified using the term lazy idiot.
