That shit is hard. I`ve carved open spirals and chains and stuff out of a 1 1/2 in piece, but PENCILS ?
Just for the *unbelieveable* dept, I`ve also seen photos of similar pieces done from toothpics.

Toothpicks!? Those must be the same people that write sutras on grains of rice...

Maw Gawd...whoohoo! I love the ball and chain one...and the double spiral...talk about getting 'wrapped up' in your work...
