Hey guys.
What do you make of this? My girlfriend has WinXP Home Edition and is trying to get Yahoo Games to run. But in true WinXP fashion (mine, although Professional, does the same), brings up a window to d\l Java. She d\l java which we are pretty sure it was the right one from java.sun.com. Only problem is that when she tries to play in Yahoo games it freezes without fail. Because it happens all the time she thinks it might be something dodgy with the website, the d\l itself, maybe a virus related to it? We've ran out of ideas as to what it could be preventing it from working.
Cheers.

The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.
Don't follow his example - seek real life help first.

Oh crap! I just downloaded that the other day I hope not!

And I put it on my new server. If it's a virus I'll have to change it's name from COLOSSUS to Guliver.

Damn Liliputions....

If you downloaded it from the sun server it is the 'offical Java' and I seriously doubt that it contains a virus, even though it isn't impossible. I'm using (and have used if for a long time) the Java version from that page, both for programming and for running java programs, and I haven't had any problems so far...

It is probably an error on the Yahoo Gaming page. What is the adress to that page?
