If I'm reading some dense subject matter, I tend to feel sleepy when my brain gets full... I have to stop reading for a while and absorb it, then go back to it later. Whether I'm wearing my glasses or contacts, it's the same. |

brucew - MSG is the flavor enhancer used in Doritos nacho cheese flavor. (monosodium glutamate for those who don't know it...) In many folks, it has a tranquilizer effect. If you've ever eaten a spicey lunch, and then gone back to the office and felt like a zombi for the rest of the day, you've eaten it. I know many Asian food places use it, and Pizza Hut loads their sauce with it. |
