I have to agree it's impossible to make everyone happy with these rankings.. Actually it reminds me of something similar. The BBC tried to list the 100 best books ever written, according to the choice of their users... And four Harry Poter books were selected ! Four pitiful, shameful, mindless, with no qualities whatsover books were selectred among the 100 best books ! And how cool there was one Dune book ! These rankings are made with users opinions, which means they don't really reflect the real quality.. Just everyone's tastes. Who said the common culture was soup ?
