Topic awaiting preservation: Is there a doctor around the board? (Page 1 of 1)

Ok here's the story:

One day I was feeling fine then suddenly at my Math class I cut myself along one of my finger. Then after a minute I feel so sick, I thought that I was about to faint so I went to the clinic to get a bandaid, after that I sat at the long chair inside the clinic that was after school.
I always had that kind of reaction with my blood.
So what kind of a phobia do I have?

But all I can say is to go to doctor and talk to him/her about this problem.

This is a web forum, not a doctors clinic.

Australia has a public medicare system for these kind of things, I suggest you make use of it.

Um, yeah... if you're coming here for medical advice, something is definitely wrong.

Yannah: A lot of people feel faint and queasy at the sight of their own blood (including large men) so I wouldn't be too bothered about it although it is something you should try to get over (I'm quite sanguine about the whole thing ). I assume that your doctor will have tested you for anemia - if not you might want to mention it at your check up but I can't see that there is anything wrong here - 'I cut my finge and felt faint' is unlikely to be a sign of anything serious

If anyone here were a doctor, it would be unethical and I think illegal for him to give you medical advice without meeting you in person. If you think something's wrong with you, get to a doctor. If you think you're depressed, get to a counselor/psychiatrist. If you need food, get to a supermarket, and so on and so forth.

I don't want to go to the doctor. They'll only get a blood sample out of me, been there lots of times before. And they're all the same. Once I' ve been to the hospital for having Dengue fever, that was the s***.Then to the clinic for having Hepatitis, god they wanted me to stay.

Dang, Yannah... Dengue Fever? Hepatitis? You've sure gotten the short end of someone's stick, haven't you.

The more I read this thread, the more I think you should stop wasting time here and get treated...

I prefer to go to a veterinarian whenever possible. The drugs are cheaper, and I get doggy treats if I'm well behaved.

but, seriously, like Emps alluded to, you are probably anemic.
this happened to me a few times when i was a teen. if you don't already, you should take a daily vitamin and eat more iron- rich foods.
extra B-12 wouldn't hurt either.
if you don' start feeling better soon you should really see a doctor.

I used to take Vitamins B, Iron and paracetamol together about last month or so, I couldn't remember. But, that didn't work.
