I'm a bit late to the party here as I'm still recouping from another
wedding on midsummer's eve... any margaritas left?

The wedding was June 21, and they are currently on their honeymoon... camping around one of the Lakes, can't remember which...
That being the reason we haven't heard much out of the 2 of them for a few days!

Wonk!!

Well, Just got back about.... uh... 35 minutes ago. We had a great time. It was Lake Superior that we went around. We outfitted the pickup truck into a camper (sorta) and camped where we could. Besides a few hiccups with the truck, only one or two rainless days, and sleeping in a space only 1/4 as tall as I am... things went really well.

Thanks for all of the encouragement and I have 5-6 memory sticks of photos to work out and post... not to mention the ten little cameras we had at the wedding itself. So I'll be busy for the next forever getting that set up.

For now... tired... sleep (yeah Right) with my new wife will be much enjoyed (much enjoyed )

Thank you all for the warm wishes! We did have a wonderful time. Lots of driving (1300 miles just around Lake Superior), beautiful scenery and friendly Canadians. The wedding went really well... (The ceremony received my brother's stamp of approval for being only 9 minutes long.) Everyone seemed to have a good time and no one was struck by lightning.

(To Moth: It was not a Handfasting, technically. We had a Justice of the Peace presiding with a secular ceremony. However, the date was chosen with deferrence to our spiritual leanings. The context of the ceremony really was not the important part... what matters most is that we are now wed both by law and by spirit.)
