Adobe Photoshop Version 7.0

----------------------------
Over $400 off retail costs!
Voted the #1 image editing software for 2003
----------------------------

Adobe Photoshop is, quite simply, the top of the line in graphic design. No program in the world does it better, and yet no single piece of software has been so out of reach to the average consumer due to its high price tag (retail costs are over $450).

For a limited time, we are offering the FULL version of Adobe Photoshop 7.0 for only $44.95.
You will not see this offer anywhere else, ever again.
This is a one time event, and this deal will not last long..

The sender's domain is thenet.com which gets forwarded to a web hosting site. The offer is too good too be true, and there is no available way to check it's credibility. It's spam )

The problem is..if anyone gave them a credit cards # and did not receive the program..that link looks like a almost real Adobe Page..then the credit card is stolen..this is bad serious theft stuff..Thanks for the link to Adobe and the other responses..just hope the mail didn't have a virus as a "bonus" free prize..shouldn't open mail..Thanks again!

HundredsOffAdobe306@thenet.com -- that address has me wondering. I checked out the thenet.com address. That is not their business address, it only goes to a low price internet provider. Kind of fishy that a business would not use their own email. hmmm.

Guy I know answered one of these. Received Photoshop, all right. Was a CD-R copy with a Xerox of the manual.

If it's an unsolicited ad, don't answer it.

When this or something similar ( it was a site ) last surfaced someone here, at the time, was working for Adobe...that 'someone' passed the info along to Adobe's legal dept. and in no time at all that site was gone.
So if you haven't already... you should pass the info to Adobe.

It's OK, Wes. We still love you.

Hate to go back to topic, but I actually was in the process of ordering. When I got to the field asking for the 3-digit code on the back of my credit card, I got a LITTLE suspicious. I did speak w/Adobe, found it was pirated, and filled out an anti-piracy report.

You weren't suspicious until they asked for the verification number on your card? That's possibly the least unusual part about the whole thing.

I think the short version is that if you want illegal software, this is probably one of the more dangerous and inefficient ways of getting it; and if you don't, then obviously these guys aren't for you.
