I tried the fontbrowser link and then it opened a new window (of course) and then it asked me if I wanted to install the newest version of Flash and I said no (I always say no to flash) and then it showed me a blank page, loading something forever, and I gave it up. No good for me if I have to install this stupid new Flash plug-in...

viol...you mean the link I posted ? I didn't install anything for it to work. My fonts were listed on the left in a box and I could click on the font and it showed how it would look in the window to the right. Sorry if you had problems with it
