check out this awesome flash site. it's been around on other forums too, really a kicker, believe me. be sure to check the about link.

Over 4megs just to preload the main page!

Well. For sure the 3D is nice and this guy really knows his job but the file size of his site disturbs me. It's all the more disturbing that every category require to load its own datas/videos as if we hadn't loaded enough IMO the web is not yet ready for such heavy sites. Not everybody have access to broadband connections, and I regret that we can't make those 3D stuffs in real time.

Lord knows I hate flash...

...but God almighty, this is the nicest site I've ever seen. Pity it's so entirely out of reach for all usable standards. Those of us surfing from the campus T1 can see it, but no one else. For a portfolio, this is the absolute best way to go if you want to sell yourself as a 3D/Flash expert. He clearly is.

Ay, the site seems to be making the rounds through the design forums. Seen it several times already, but I must admit, that is one nice piece of work

I am not big on Flash, but I must admit that's pretty damn good. I have cable so the DL time wasn't the issue, but it sure didn't run very smoothly on my anchient celeron533, and then my virtual memory got low.

Intense and ahead of its time, don't know how to compete with something like that.
