Have you tried going to the XP PC and sending the files to 2K from there? |

get your XP cd out and run File Settings and Transfer Wizard....I've had excellent success using it for that very issue! |

I've had some difficulties also trying to connect my WinXP to my wife's notebook, that has Win2k. My easy solution was to set up an FTP account, using a very light program (Cerberus), and use my IP address as the address, like ftp://usernameassword@128.103.186.209/ at the browser address bar (IE is good at this). Then, by dragging and dropping, I can transfer files to and from both computers. |
