Eew this place gives me a head-ache! Haven't been here in a while (luckily).

Ok lets get down to business. How could I make something (an image) begin on one side of the screen, and then with the help of javascript and stylesheets, fly to the other side?

I dunno. Flash is easy tho.

Well, I'm sure someone will post some code, but you can set it in a DIV, and use a JavaScript timer to increment the position of the DIV about the screen.

Something like on bug's DHTML page that sends gif's to different parts of the screen when the page is finished loading.

Bugimus: I'd not seen those pages in a while - ironically I was watching an episode of Crusade on cable and now I'm playing with a Minbari chaser (coincidence). Some of them look nearly good to go like the pull down select box quick tip, for example. I'd have to shoot you if you carried forward the cross-browser one pixel table border one though!! Most of them work in Opera too.

No clicking involved, no mouse work. Just when your page is finished loading gif's are sent to specified coordinates on the page.

With a little imagination you will begin to see what is going on in the code to move things around.

Then, you can come back and ask some more specific questions as you run into problems implementing the code.
