hmmm well its father's day so paint your dad.

I'd suggest not showing him however... it will probably be like girlfriends and mothers where they get angry and say it doesn't look like them..

maybe put a pic of your dad up with it so we can compare...

hey nobody posted and I went away and so its been like 2 weeks or more now.. should I choose a new topic or just pick from the 2 people that posted but didn't post a pic?

cause I did a pic of my dad and realized how lame it looked and didn't post it... (old bald guys holding up "sex Machine" pjs aren't the best subject) but I was watching tv (the history channel actually) and saw a show on "american Classics" and think that paintings of "american icons" would be cool... you know stuff like James Dean, Harley's, Coca Cola Bottles, 57 chevies, etc...

but yeah thats what I'd suggest if I am supposed to choose a new topic after killing this topic with that last one if I'm supposed to choose somebody then either morph or counterfeitbacon can chime in.

i missed this one all together, can we get another topic then?

but I was thinking that the earlier topic really sucked when two weeks later nobody posted. I was quite sad thinking that I may have picked the topic that killed speed painting.

okay, eh, man i dont want to post this... but... dang it.

I started with PS and then moved into painter. its the first time to use painter so, eh... mostly painted on it then hit Ctrl-z.

very fast, very slopy. Used photo refs of mah dad back in his college days... so eh...

whoa, I recognized him, nice job, 'specially for your first time in painter (that can be addictive, look out =)

hey hedsteve, nothing personal but just after posting on your thread I had some shit going on and had to move house. I was offline for about three weeks. I'll go with the flow on this so just let me know what you want to do
