![]() I have an image consisting of several layers on a white background. I need to nudge the image down about 1/4". How can I do that so that all the layers stay in alignment; really, how can I move all the layers at the same time? |

![]() In the layers pallet, you have a column down the left-hand side. next to each layer, there are two boxes in this column. The leftmost box will have an eye icon if the layer is visible. The right box will be empty unless you click on it - then a little chain will appear, signifying that the layer clicked is linked to the active layer. |

![]() Or duplicate it. Then if its something that has clear defined edges you can select the background with Edit>Select>Color Range or Magic Wand with a low tolerance setting... thats usually how I do it. |
