Can this be done? If so, how would I go about doing this. I'm trying to come up with a really slick & nice looking layout/interface for my car clubs website. I would post a link to the site but it is currently down. My idea was to make a brushed metal interface at the top of the page with indiglo gauges that are sunk into the metal. i have been messing around with photoshop and im confident that i can make this happen i just need some tips and walk throughs of how to get the guages to look like they are real. Please email me @ importconceptz@cox.net if you have more info or post it here and i will try to get back online later. thanks. |

There are all kinds of "glowing material" tutorials out there for Photoshop, try Googling for some of them. Don't expect to find a "Making Indiglo" tutorial. Instead, look for tutorials that you can use to learn how to make a glowing appearance and apply those to your interface. |

I'd just fill in a background with green, duplicate the layer and give it a bit of a blur. Course thats not the prettyest way of doing it... Just a simple method. You going for a .com address or a Geocities/Angelfire site? |
