Hi people!
First of all, excelent site...I've been learning a lot from here and I want to thank you!

But this time I have a question that hopefully, you can answer me.

I was wondering if it's this possible to!
Make an image transparent and put it over another one!

I have an example, but the link doesn't take you to the image directly

I've been looking for some tutorials but I only get the ones about transparent gifs for websites.

I am kinda newbie with photoshop

Thanks a lot and keep making this,a great site for those like me who need help

EDIT #1 Pic didn't work
EDIT #2 Pic didn't work again
EDIT #3 Link doesn't takes you directly to the pic
EDIT #4 Erased the link

Well, yes it is...you just do it with layers. When you put one layer on top of a another in photoshop any areas on the top layer that are transparent willshow the layer beneath. You can even have semi transparency, but not with a gif image.

you can change the blend mode of the top layer eg to multiply or overlay, or if you prefer, change the opacity of the top layer
