the patch tool allows you to select said item to place over your eye, useually comes with pirate versions of photoshop - the kind that don't have a manual....

User Guide - Page 137:

"The patch tool lets you repair a selected area with pixels from another area or a pattern."
"..matches the texture, lighting, and shading of the sampled pixels to the source pixels."
