hey all. I'm looking for a 'good looking' not cheasy, tutorial on making paper. Preferabbly something like here:

well the link you posted is a bunch of pictures. Yor best bet on realism is to take photos of it. Like the link. If you want grungy paper, then uh... wad it up, wet it down... spill coffee on it, Then take pictures of it.

Other wise, just paint. you could google for tutorials on paper if you want a tut.

this thread is screwy. hey, this has come up a lot in the past, so try searching the PS forum, archive, and the FAQ is always a good bet.

I remember the magazine, Computer Arts doing a good tut on paper, inc CD with source images, does that help?

Play, fiddle, learn

Or try this:
-Open a new photoshop document.
-fill with a light color (beige, gray, offwhite)
-open filter menu-->texture-->texturizer
-choose canvas , scaling = +/- 53%, relief =1, light direction = bottom left;
-play with these settings
-add an 0.5 gaussian blur.
