You can get PMS swatches in the Window/Swatch Libraries/ submenu. (The submenu options include PMS colors.) Once you've chosen your PMS color, you can drag it to your main Swatches palette for safekeeping if you want. |

Thanx Thunder, however... that menu is empty for me and I can't find any swatch libraries..doh! |

Hmm... I can't think of an Illustrator installation, legitimate or otherwise, that would lack those basic libraries. Just unzip this to your Swatch Libraries folder in your Illustrator directory, I guess. (First check that folder to make sure it really is empty -- it could be that your stuff just isn't showing up, in which case you can open the library with the Open... command.) |
