zip (1.1mb)

The zip file contains my Illustrator file as well as an exported PSD. If you've got Illustrator, and would like to make this a vector duel, I'd be up for that. (The .ai is version 9, but I can downsave.) Sorry about the delay -- I was finishing up a side project.

Woop, and if you DO want to use Illustrator, I'll also post a zip containing the PostScript fonts I used, or I'll convert the original to outlines and upload it.

Dealer's choice, my friend. I'm going to be away Saturday and Sunday (and possibly Friday evening, I don't know for certain) -- visiting home. A friend of mine just got out of the Marines, and there's a sci-fi convention I've been invited to. Good luck with those exams.

Did you know that "Perfect Thunder" started as the name of a martial arts deathblow in a game I was running? (The desperation version was called "Critical Thunder.") Only later did it become an airship. Time for me to charge my ki for three rounds... I love the puppies, by the way. I just put "I like puppies" as amusing nonsense, but now I see a theme for the match.

I'm about to head home, so no return today, but tomorrow you might be in luck. Or, er, I mean, utter and pathetic despair, mortal!

EDIT: right-click, Save As... worked for me for the zip file. Maybe your host is more friendly than you think?

The tension builds. These panels are just extra layers on the PSD, so if you'd like to work with the original image, it's all there.

Will ReMiXx dodge the incipient bolt of murderous energy? Or will Perfect Thunder land a clean 15 hits, removing 34% of ReMiXx's life meter and potentially dizzying him? And will someone have the heart to adopt this adorable puppy? Find out next time...

<edit> That silly puppy has confused "frequency" and "wavelength." I guess he's not so smart after all... </edit>

I got the zip okay, but since your image link isn't working for me, I took the liberty of hosting these images in my space. Note to spectators: this is Remixx's return, from the previous post.

I'll have a panicked and desperate response in a few. (Insert time unit of your choice.)

A combination of work and slacking have delayed me, but I'm working on my return right now. I just have to strike a balance between the stick-figure style and realistic lighting... I'm trying out something I haven't really played with before, and if I get it right, it'll have a nice cel-shaded look. (Note: I probably won't get it right.)
