Someone has already taken it. It is curently being used. I don't get it. It's a delibrate mispelling of the name Skaarj. ARRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else ever had anexperience like this?

Funny, you wouldnt think many people would have the name Jestah but theres a lot of people that do. I usually hafta settle for something like ieJestah, Jestah91, Jestah77. I have a few computers in my house and I only have my login info saved on my computer in my room so it becomes a pain to login cause theres soooo many Jestahs that I have, at least this one is easy cause its the only one I have Jestah for.

Don't seem to have a problem with Wes too much. Probably cuz it sounds like the name of a bad male stripper...

But I did use to peruse IRC by the name of Killian. Half the time, naturally, I'd have to use a variation because someone was already logged on by that nick. But, one day when I was able to use just plain "Killian," I started getting a bunch of hate messages from a guy who accused me of stealing his name. He demanded I change my nick so he could have it back. Really angry guy. Genuinely believed that his was the only person on the entire Internet who could use that name. So, me and about a dozen other people took on the names Killain1, Killian2, Killian3, etc. and started invading his channel. As we got booted, we change it to the next number and come back. Probably spent 15-20 minutes doing that. I've never seen someone so furious...

... >ahem< Guess you had to be there...

I think someone's messin' with me. it told me that my E-Mail address had already been registerd, under the name "Psycho". Yet, amazingly, I had never recieved anything from them in my email before. This really pisses me off. It's bad enough when someone steals your work, but when they register something with your e-mail address...I hope you realise...this means WAR!

I just realised...I'm coming up on my 300th post!

That's a good idea hypershrimp, except for one thing. It's Skaarjj with two J's. Alot of people in this forum have problems with spelling it properly. Anyway, unless ID software made perfect dark, I think ID will be sueing them. The game Unreal, brought out two or three years ago by ID had a alien race called the Skaarj as their ememy creatures.

At last i had PHant on one server Phantom_xxl on an other and 0.phantom.0 on an other.... then i started to get crazy about it. So changed my name in Rinswind 2th and the problems where over. Just as a quick aside:

Epic entertainment developed Unreal, id software created the popular doom and quake series.

As far as names go, I am usually faily capable of snagging Tycho, or a variant therein using another language spelling or pronunciation (Like "Tyge", which was how Tycho was signed in the 16th century). Theres always some variation or other available.. I just have to be creative.

I can relate, I have used 'The Jackal' as my online identity for, well, almost six years now. I find that most new places I register at, such as forums, I have to change the spelling to 'The Jakyl'. Even that is taken sometimes as well. There are only so many variations one can think of.
