I make this enquiry with reluctance, since I don't know how it will be recieved. I need to do a 3D picture of a dragon...and I need background guide drawings. I can't draw to save myself (and this makes me wonder why I became a 3D artist) and so I don't want someone ot do it for me...but I do want osme help. If I get desperate then I may make a request of someone else's work, but for now...no. I need to do top, side and maybe a bottom view. Any help guys?

Hmm.

I do not know what kind of dragon you are looking for, or if you want the whole dragon or just a head.

I won't have the time to help you out with the actual guides, but I can offer some hints.

If you look at many dragon heads (tolkien style), they bear much resemblance to the way a horses head is constituted. This may seem far fetched, but I'd say 70% horse and 30% reptile. You could easily start out with a "pony", and mutate it from there, since a lot of the form an muscles seem to fit the dragon anathomy. Add scales, horns, pointy nostrils and a lot of fangs, you should be on your way.

The body is even more dependent on what kind you are looking for. Chinese dragons tend to have long slender snakelike bodies, as to where some of the western types seem more stocky and muscular.

Sorry I can't help out more, but I really need to sort out some "IRS"-business" that they need by next week...*sigh*
