Anybody have any good suggestions for a good CDRW. I'm thinking of getting one to back up my system. I don't have any open bays, so I will have to take out my current CD ROM drive to install it.

Thanks in advance!

I've used the HP 8200 external USB before. IT works really well, it would burn 650 MB in less than 30 minutes (don't remeber how much less). I was really pleased with that since my previous external experience was with a parallel port model, that truly sucked.

I got a creative cd-rw for about $150 and now it should go for less. It's a decent burner and I've had no problems with it at all. The one I have is the 8x4x32 so it's not the fastest on the market anymore, but I can burn a 700 MB cd (without doing a speed test etc.) in about 7 - 10 minutes. Also, at 32x for regular CD-ROM operation, CD-RW's aren't exactly slow either.

I've also heard good things about the VeloCD that Ducati is talking about, so it's all about how much you want to pay for the performance.

[edit]If you're looking for speed, an internal CD-RW is much better unless you get a SCSI drive.
