It shows the win2k bluscreen with some error messages and the filename nvidia4.dll.
I have the newest graphics, directx -drivers. And i also have installed sp2.

What drivers are you running with? 30.82 or 40.41?

If you are running with 40.41 there is some problems with them that can be fixed.

I'll help later if you have the 40.41 drives

You could try installing OLDER drivers - (pre or early DetonatorXP)

Nvidia updated drivers are notorious for failing in Win2k
They were stable around the 18XX releases (sorry - can't be more specific about the release number)

[edit] But you may just want to ignore this altogether - there's better advice in the thread [/edit]

Okey also did you install them over any older drives like 30's, etc? cus that makes a lot of porblems going form 30.-- drivers to 40.-- dirves. Anyway try these:

1) Reinstall the drivers as G said.

Or

2) Uninstall the drivers, reboot, install again. If same problem is still there do the same as you just did but delete any files that are nvidia's that you can find (like nvidia4.dll) after the first reboot and reboot then install the drivers again and see how it goes.

I had problems with the 40.41 drivers cus I just overwritten the old drives my 30.82, which just makes problems (which they don't tell you about). I just uninstalled the 30.82, rebooted and installed the 40.41 and it works fine.

To fully uninstall the previous drivers, you could try this lovely piece of software...

I had almost the exact same problem.
Once I went back to the old drivers, no more problem.

OlssonE: Did you solve the pronlem? If not get the NEW NEW Nvidia 40.71 drivers (which is okey for overwritting the older drivers) and see how it goes .

I have tried everything I have even reinstalled win2k.
I'll try that driver but I don't think it's going to work.
I don't have my programsfolder and documents and settings folders on the systemroot partion. Can this be the problem?

Thanks for the help everybody!
I don't really know what the problem was but after messing around in bios it works!
