Preserved Topic: Food for thought? (Page 1 of 1)

Ok Im gonna throw this out and hopefully Im taken serious. Now Im not the best graphic artist in the world but
I do get my fair share of work. (considerin my real job is recording) and everyso often, I get a little stumped for ideas.

Now heres my idea...

Do you suppose the community of ASYLUM would be interested in a collaborative effort on a project Im doing?
Now the first thought that came to mind is, how would you all get compensated. I have no clue....

I see some of the best photoshop work in this forum and I see alot of work done for "learning" sake.
Just curious if something like that would interest some of you.

hey btw, I went to gurus.com and its developed by many people. What I had in mind was a specific project.
Fer instance, Im doing this Album for an Island Radio station called the pride of the islands, and suppose several people helped me layout the "photoshop - tricked out pics" for the inside of the booklet.

I get paid about $2000.00 per project and I wouldn't mind spreadin the wealth.

sorry.... i was too lazy to type out www.gurusnetwork.com.... (lazy and a lil too late.)

I would love to get as many people involved. I do this stuff because I enjoy it and because of my studio and record label, I fortunately get to design quite a bit of stuff. I do alot of volunteer work for the March of Dimes out here in Hawaii so I get my experience that way also.

What I can do is when I get some guides, or ideas from my clients, I can post the basic elements on my site.
Then the ozoneites can take the images and do whatevers. And what I can do is either credit the individual or
credit the asylum. Either way works for me.

I just appriciate any help! This has got to be one of the best resources I've found for Photoshop.

Yes Isreal passed away several years ago.
