Looks pretty good ...

The major improvement I see would be to use the displace filter on the texture on the metal connector. The dots are completely flat, but if they were more compressed near the edges it would give it a lot more 3-dimensionality. All you would need would be a solid grey alpha channel and a black to white gradient in the second channel of the displacement map. Check out GN for an incredible displace tutorial in case you aren't experienced with it yet.

Other than that it's lookin sweeeet.

Thanks all. If I ever did a tutorial for our site I would use it as an entrance to it myself. I thought it would look nice like that.

Looks good. My question, though, is what is the reasoning behind the objects? If you were just goofin off for practice, then great. But if this graphic is for actual use, then I wonder what the significance of what looks to be pills and wires and such is. I'm not pickin or nothin ... just curious.

I just figued if I ever got to doing tutorial that I would use this as an entrance to it. That's all...but, it serves as nothing for now ...just wanted you to see is all.

I have to agree. Looks like lots of tutorials stuck together. Was that your goal? Did you get those images by using your own tutorials so you want to show off the result?

Yes kretsminky...they are tutorials work stuck together. If I ever decide to do a tutorial page then I will stick this there as a direction to the page. As it is now it is just a bunch of tutorials stuck together...I just thought it looked good to just show.
