Something was brought up in another forum and I was just wondering...

Does my site load too slow?

I don't really want any critiques, already got those waaaay back. I am working on a new version but the current one is the first thing I ever put together with Photoshop so I know it needs lots o work. Hopefully I can scrap it for the new one in the next month or so. I guess load time is something I never really concerned myself with at that point. Now that I have a little more experience with PS its something I want to correct when I launch the new version.

nope, the t1 takes it just fine.

On a 56 K, I'd say it does take a little too long. I think you should be able to cut it in half - you can certainly lower the quality on some of those jpegs.

My DSL handles it just fine...everything loaded in about three secs....

i use isdn64k and need 20secs (from germany)

in 800x600, i see most of the content and graphics. i lose some of your wreath (time for an update) and most importantly, i lose the down-arrow for your scroll-system. consequently, i have to scroll in order to scroll. major bad mojo, mister. additionally, there's about 400 pixels of wasted space at the bottom; again, major bad mojo, especially when someone has to scroll in order to scroll.

Took 45 secs to completely download on my 56k.

I am one of those with the 800x600 screens. I agree with twItch^ about having to scroll down to scroll and all. Not good. Oh, you didn't want design critiques ... sorry ...
