The tests came back in today...

I'm pregnant.

Mom: I made that sig my starting out with two circles and an ellipse. Then using a combination of the huey/sat command, and the dodge/burn tool, I tried to add the look of shape/curvature. The orange things were actually three horizontal straight lines drawn with a paintbrush (wet edges checked) and then changing the layer blend mode to burn if I remember... the border is a stroked rectangle (1 pixel) layer blend mode set to burn again I think. A little bit of dogding/burn and a touch of white added with a one pixel paintbrush.
During creation I also use the levels and curves command to manipulate the contrast and colours in a usually haphazard way.. I think I have the .psd at home still but I am at work (boo hoo). When I get back Ican post it for you ....

its all about time practice, pracvtice, experiment... I still learn more everyday..

You can download either file by shift clicking on the above links. If you are familair with winzip, that file is smaller. Then you can Unzip it locally on your puter once yuo have downloaded it.

You should look at the file in photoshop.. this was done in PS5.5 , so if you are using PS6.0 you will see a difference because PS6.0 interpolates the colour dodge mode differently fyi.

When examining it, pay attention to the different layers and their opacity settings and blend modes.

What a truly bizarre footnote to history. The Lord chose a humble science teacher as the vehicle for His second coming. Shoot, I was expecting trumpets and chariots.

Frankly Krets, unless you've been puking in the morning or craving pickles and chocolates, I'd ask for your money back on that home pregnancy test kit. And maybe have the dosage tweaked on your estrogen therapy.

I just wanted you all to know that since I am *with child* my hormones will be severely out of balance for the next few weeks.
