Hi! I scored a copy of Photoshop 6.0 so that I could edit these buttons on my website: www.sedatedtoiproductions.com
A friend did the image mapping part for me and he wont explain how. I want to add more
buttons, and I have already, (to the image), but now I need someone who could explain a step by step process or send me to a tutorial. I've heard to check out Dreamweaver, but I'm broke. I've also looked on Adobe's home page and found nothing helpful. If you know of any good links or could help me, please e-mail me here as soon as you can!

Go to
http://www.download.com

and run a search for image maps. There are a ton of programs out there that will do it for you. I use EditPlus currently and it has an image map creator but I've never tried it.

I really like CuteMap for quick and dirty image maps.

you can also use Photoshop's info palette to get X and Y coordinates from positions in an image. Not fun if you're making complex shapes though.

I don't use imagemaps. They're not sec508 compliant very much.
