Subject: Blacksoulsunday is a ripper...
Also, his shoutbox is down...
Moving on...he now has until the end of today to remove all ripped graphics from his site...if he still hasn't done this, it's time to notify his provider...
One thing I would like to make clear here...I have not done anything to BSS, other than expose the truth...no vile words (though the same cannot be said of him), no 'hacking' of his site (I don't support such actions, nor have I asked anyone to do so...), just plain hard work of finding the truth and exposing it. All actions taken up to this point (by me) were just mails to various sites affected by this and a running commentary of what I was doing (which I find to be fair that BSS should be at least informed of what I have done and what I wish him to do). All actions taken by various sites are not in that sense because of me, more, they are because of what BBS has done. I just brought this to their attention.
So should anyone have a problem with what I am doing, stop a minute and think...is exposing the truth wrong? Is giving the wrongdoer a chance to rectify his actions wrong? Is informing others of his wrongdoing wrong? My opinion is no, it's not wrong. BSS has had every chance to put a stop to this. He has had every chance to change the situation. The weight of this is, therefore, in his hands.
One final note...I don't really appreciate him (or anybody else, for that matter) using my name (or anybody elses), to post innane statements. This is, IMHO, in poor taste. I have E-mailed him, calmly explaining the very real possiblility of him losing his site. In this sense, my conscious is clear.

Moiz, I see that you link to deviant art...I take it that you are either active there, or visit there often. If that is so, could you contact them concerning this matter? A lot of BSSs 'Wallpaper' (under 'signatures') is ripped from deviant art. I know, because I did a lot of tracking of graphics there (and man, are there a lot of graphics to go through there...). I'm not going to post the results, because of the possibility of BSS just taking down those I post, leaving the others up, meaning that I have to once again spend huge amounts of time collecting evidence again. Maybe letters from deviant art will have more effect on BSS than mine.
Then again, maybe not.

As I said before, I'm giving him until the end of today to remove the 'ripped' stuff before I go to his provider...and time is ticking...but one has to leave him enough time at least to react. I find that only fair, even if he isn't.
For all of his 'blowing', I think that he is taking this stuff seriously. Otherwise he would never have removed the stuff before. I think he's starting to realize the extent of the matter. Well, we will see, won't we.

Also, the graphic 'abstract' under 'signatures' is ripped from deviantart...especially the 'background' red pic...
And apparently he's begged, pleaded, and blatantly lied to his 'fellow' affiliates. Unbelievable. Well, we will see what his provider thinks...

I think I found another thing he's ripped. An entire passage of text this time.
I was reading through his "Introspect" section wondering how someone that's influenced by a 16" bong can own a 4WD, A motorcycly and some other sports car, 3 handguns (Go you 1337 moron), and manage to completly avoid mentioning his experience or current occupation. If someone feels the need to brag about having three cars they obviously value their life enough to brag about the job that got them all of this wonderful stuff no?
Anyway, I kept reading and the paragraphs at the bottom actualy sounded like it was written by an intelligent person. So, I cut and past a bit of it into google and well...
From http://www.blacksoulsunday.com/introspect
quote: I will continue to learn about web devlelopment and software, and at the same time, I hope to continue to become a better designer. I truly have every intention of being able to design and develop web sites and multimedia for any market, any demographic, any company. And I have every intention of bringing to these projects a freshness, and artistic twist that goes beyond profit and truly speaks to the end user.
I am confident and commited to this goal. I ALWAYS give everything to meet my goals. I work hard and my work ethic is something that I have taken very much pride in over the years. I encourage anyone reading this, who might be looking for inspiration (and that would be very cool if you were here looking for inspiration), to realize that goals are met through hard work and not gift.
Talent comes from working hard. Gifts are given away. Even the most gifted people in the world only achieve success by coupling that gift with relentless hard work, dedication and vision for the future. Einstein spent his entire life, even to his death, working hard to find a unified theory of physics. Tiger Woods has worked hard at playing golf since he was a toddler. Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi both started playing tennis when they were young children, and continue to work extremely hard into their 30's (old age in tennis years). And you don't have to start at age 1.
Be patient and keep at it. I know this from experience. Everything that I have, I earned through hard work and patience. Any gift that I was born with (if I was born with any), has only helped me during the periods in my life where I have worked the hardest. Believe that!
But google didn't give me BSS's site, it gave me www.jlswebsource.com and his "Introspect Section" whom I heavly doubt is the same person. Here's the text from his site...
From: http://www.jlswebsource.com/introspect.html

Looks word for word to me.
The thing that really pisses me off about this is what the text actually portrays. It's written by the kind of people that I encounter here so often. People passionate about design and art. People with respect for those who have walked that path before us and people with half a fucking brain.
I'm starting to doubt if any of this person's site is his. After all, his site is little more than the one image of a face used over and over and over again. He prolly ripped that too, then just used PS6 with his leet layer styling abilities to do the rest.

Well, judging by his graphics and this big chunck of text, I would say that his entire site has came from other sources. I find it really sad that he has been given so many awards and has such a name in this community of his.
Reading through some of the shoutbox on his site, I see that some at waystedyouth.org are backing him. I used to like that site somewhat. Now, it just falls flat and I doubt that I will ever go back.
This is a sad sad case.

to Drac...hey, big thanks on that one...a better example of 'rip' I couldn't find (with the exception of the Liquisoft stuff). Just one more nail in the coffin.
keep up the good work, everyone.
BTW Ini...maybe you should give his source code a look...I found a lot in it, but I'm not as good at that sort of stuff as you are...I know for example that he didn't do any of that DHTML stuff, it's just taken from a 'free' code site (the site is listed in the sourcecode...).
That considered, it just goes to stand that he probably ripped everything else, as well (including the code).
