Well, a lot of other forums have traditions, weekly ones, mounthly ones. I think this one should have a tradition as well! Ever since bugimus's conundrum threads, I think that we should have a weekly riddle or something! And then the person who gets it first makes the next weekly riddle! Or something of that nature... What do you fellow philosopher inmates think about this?

Why only quarterly? I've got some great dresses that I just don't get to wear enough.

They are robes and are a requirement of my Imperial duties (try telling a big hairy Scotsman that his kilt is a dress!!) - for the record I've never worn a dress (except by accident or when I was drunk or as a postmodern ironic statement on gender classification while in a touring Marxist theatrical group). If vp hadn't already fishslapped you there would be some serious tuna swinging around here (is that a euphemism for something).

InSiDeR: I don't think there is any needed for something so formalised as a monthly tradition in this forum Dark's pop quizes, Bug's conundrums, etc. have just been spontaneous things and have worked nicely that way. If you have an idea for something then start a thread and see if it catches anyone's interest.

I suspect those Philipino relgious loons (and a Japanese sado-masochistic porn star one year I believe) who crucify themselves every Easter. If they that knew, rather than being nailed to a lot of lumber, they could get away with a black, sequinned, off-the-shoulder evening gown I think they might be very relieved.

Haven't we gone down this route already insider?? a few times even???

Just because you start a thread doesn't mean that everyone has to talk about what you intended it to be about.

And just because people don't like your idea doesn't mean that you have to tell them "shut up" as if you somehow carry the wieght to have such a silly phrase actually accomplish something.

What emperor implied is that, rather than come and post a thread whihc pretty much calls other people to entertain you, why not start your own entertaining thread with a joke or riddle or story of your own.

So, should you happen to have something of that nature to post, feel free to start another topic.
