I really like it though. Looks pretty dang cool.. er.. I mean hot! Really, that is one good looking ball o' fire man. Good job.

My monitor is behaving right now, so I whipped this out real quick like. I took an original sprite graphic, double sized it, and did some painting. I don't think it's too bad for the short amount of time that I put into it. Could stand some more smoothing out of the shadow edges. Hmm...

A sprite is a graphic with a transparency used in video games. When you play Super Mario Brothers, those are sprites running around the screen. I remember when a game with 16x32 sprites was a big deal -- they really pushed a machine to the edge! Then they got bigger and bigger and nobody cares anymore.

Check Sinistar. The sound bites are worth giving a quick listening to. The scream sound bite still gives me chills.

edit: I should clarify a bit. Bigger sprites on C64 and other home computers was big deal. The video game industry was always a bit ahead of the home users.

Sprites....yum......Im a video game spriter myself! Well, not professionally, but I consider myself good.
