I bet you get this all the time, (so I would reccomend writing up a tute for the gurus network if you aren't already), but how in the world do you get your animations to be sooo smoooth??? I can't get anything but choppy garbage poo. Is it colors? Is it frame rate? What?

uhm... I'm not at home right now, so I can't whop up a *gif.. The links Eyezaer gave can give you some pointers... Most animations I make have 12 frames. What are the kinds of animation you've got trouble with?

just about anything i make is icky.. should i not use imageready?
I've seen the dolphin thing before, and good point in the wheels forum about 4 frames.. I made a buddy icon for AIM for example that is pretty slow when it should be going faster.. maybe i should lose some frames? I'll upload the file to httP://www.angelfire.com/biz5/groovz/downoad/ shortly..

Okay, sorry that its taken me so long, but I had server trouble..

Here is my gif with full 256 colors..



13 colors...


All together it has (I think) ~26 frames, and I told Imageready to run each frame with 'no delay'.
