If I could go back to any date in history I would go back to febuary last year, so I could tell my girlfriend to not go to Wal-mart on Tuesday night, stopping her from getting in the erally horrid accident she got in.

Advice for the future. I got a whole lot of it at 18, but really didn't understand it until later. I think that is how it is for a lot of people. It is really a shame.

1. Even though you might know a lot, there are always people who know more, so keep working hard.
2. Study and get good grades, they can open doors for you.
3. Do not put of learning something new. Often when you find o use for the knowledge it is to late to learn it and apply it.
4. Do not stay in relationships that you know are not health or productive for you. Love doesn't only happen once.
5. Friends and relationships are important. When everything else is said and done you only have memories, and those good times with your friends will last forever.

Then there is the final on. Do what you love. That trumps everything else.

I didn't follow all of the first five, and I stumbled and fell flat on my face more times than I can count, but at the end of the day I have a great life. I love my job, I love my girlfriend, I love my family, I love my life. If you strive to be a better person, struggle through all the crap, and come out the otherside there are often great rewards waiting for you.

Good luck,

Dan @ Code Town

Hmm, good question, you've got to be carefull not to change too much, so for the sake of personal ganins

I'd go back to when I was about 15, I would tell myself to study music, I would tell myself to take art more seriously, i would tell myself to do more sport, and I would tell myself to get the hell away from computers!
